In my topology, I've got two SRX's (SRX-A and SRX-B) that peer with each other, and act as a sort of edge to the internet in their respective environments. SRX-A is configured with an address of 169.254.1.1/30 and SRX-B is configured with an address of 169.254.1.2/30 for the uplink between the two devices. Behind SRX-B is an EX, that has the DNS server further downstream. SRX-A is configured to use this DNS server for all of its DNS requests. I have ACLs on the DNS server that need to be updated.
Here is my question, without using the default-address-selection configuration and assuming policies are in place, what is the source addresss that the DNS request from SRX-A will appear as?
