BGP & BFD over a LAG

Hello,

If I'm running an BGP session over a LAG (let's say a 2*10G LAG) and I configure BFD for the BGP session will the BFD packets traverse the same member-link of the LAG as the eBGP packets? (I'm aware that the router will consider the BGP packets to be 'locally-originated' traffic and select one of the member-links of the LAG for the BGP session) ...

... Or is there the possibility that the BFD packets will be sent over the other member-link? (i.e. the link not used for the BGP session)

P.S. Using standard BFD, not micro-BFD

TIA
