Re: VPLS failing with routing-engine failover

Hi everyone.

Thank you all for your replies and suggestions.

Both options are configured as follow:

chassis {
    redundancy {
        failover {
            on-loss-of-keepalives;
            on-disk-failure;
        }
        graceful-switchover;
    }
    alarm {
        management-ethernet {
            link-down ignore;
        }
    }
}

And

routing-options {
    nonstop-routing;
}

BFD is currently configured for my iBGP sessions, but not for my OSPF sessions, not for MPLS and not for the eBGP sessions either as my providers do not support it currently, although on another router with same configuration switching the routing engine has kept the eBGP sessions up.

Last but not least my MPLS/VPLS leverage the RSVP, not the LDP protocol. I am not aware of BFD capabilities for RSVP/MPLS.
